It‘s certainly a weird feeling reading this during another global pandemic. The similarities are breathtaking, as are the differences, to be honest. It sure hits a little different these days…

Although the plot line was a little disjointed, I enjoyed this graphic nonfiction about the 1918 flu pandemic. It really showed how swiftly it spread and how deadly it was. Geared to middle grade readers, it‘s a good introduction to the terrible year.
