I like Sadie. She‘s bookish, resourceful, and oh so creative! Her attempts to fly, bedroom tent party, not distinguishing between friends who live down the street and friends who live in books, all reminds me of my own childhood! 💜💜

jillrhudy Library's getting ready to open, so I went over and read this. It's adorable. It would make a great gift for a little girl. 5y
alisiakae @jillrhudy Definitely! It was one of the books I found on A Mighty Girl, one of my favorite websites. I have found so many great book and toy rec's for my daughter there. https://www.amightygirl.com/books 5y

jillrhudy @4thhouseontheleft Oooooooooo this site is perfect. Princess Cimorene is my favorite Mighty Girl in modern juvenile literature and I'd love to send my niece this box set https://www.amightygirl.com/the-enchanted-forest-chronicles-collection 5y

This beautifully illustrated picture book is a lovely love letter to stories that take us away and to imaginative and creative children. I really enjoyed this one and definitely recommend it.

elizabethlk @Wan.der.love same! It was a random library pick based on the great cover and previously enjoying the author. The illustrations inside are even better. 6y

Adored this picture book which I borrowed more for myself than my two boys. They were happy to sit through one reading but preferred other books I had borrowed from the library w were funny/had trains and cars and other silly boy things. It's ok. I loved this book anyway.

scripturient This looks great. The library issue: I hear you. My son adores cars, trains, fire engines, and all that 'boy stuff'. Recently I got him into cowboys and horses (at least no motors involved here). 😂 So yes, I do pick more 'girly' books for myself sometimes, too. 9y
RealLifeReading @scripturient ah yes cowboys. My boys haven't shown any interest in that yet but they're into pirates of late partly because of the tv series Octonauts! 9y
