Anna Forster, in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease at only thirty-eight years old, knows that her family is doing what they believe to be best when they take her to Rosalind House, an assisted living facility. She also knows there's just one other resident her age, Luke. What she does not expect is the love that blossoms between them.

This book was outstanding! It is not a book I would have picked up, but I am so glad my book club decided to read it! As I was reading it, I was worried that it would have a very sad ending. I have to I have hopeful and it was beautiful. There are very sad themes... but.. juat read it. The writing was seamless and the story flowed.

The only issue with visiting the Library and getting a stack of great books is; which to read first??

When I saw today‘s #readingresolutions prompt, a book that I just decided NOT to read came to mind. It deals with Alzheimer‘s and since I‘m now struggling with my own mother and her own #memory problems, I just couldn‘t do it. I‘ve heard it‘s excellent tho. Just to close to home right now.

Books about Alzheimer's can be heartbreaking. I've only read Still Alice and Goodbye, Vitamin so far and both hold to that fact. Anyone read the others? #90sinjuly #whereismymind

4⭐️ "How can you love someone you don't remember" Uplifting and heartwarming story about Anna, who's suffering from early stage Alzheimer's. She goes in a retirement centre for her own safety and she meet Luke, the only younger person there with dementia. We then slowly sees them drifting through their illness and their love.

I really liked the characters and quickly became absorbed in this book.

I honestly loved this book! It was a tug on your heartstrings in more than one way, but worth it!
Alzheimer's scares me to death. I don't wish that on anyone. I can't imagine what it would be to experience that decline. This book gives you a beautiful yet heartbreaking view of just that.

An emotional, heartfelt, and uplifting read about love, loss, and dementia that is told from the point of view of three different characters (all of whom I loved). An obviously well-researched book that I finished in just 24 hours.
