so-so3✨ I know what you are thinking… my first read of February is a Christmas story. 🤣 Well, it took me a while! Laurel, her husband, and her Nana all live together. After many failed IVF treatments, a failed adoption situation, and Nana losing her memory Laurel and husband Zach look to release some holiday stress by getting a day companion for Nana. Enter Mrs. Miracle. Laurel frustrated me so much! I‘m glad I stuck it out until the end though. 🥰
Now that I finally reviewed all the books I‘ve been reading it‘s time to clear out some books! #OutwiththeOldinwiththeNew I‘d like to catch up on my missing 2 #NancyDrewBR , finish Mansfield Park, and the last 4 Christmas stories I have from my library. Ambitious yes… but we will try!

so-soI honestly feel bad because I didn't really care for this story. It was written well. I've enjoyed every Debbie Macomber book I've read, but this story annoyed me more than anything. The main conflict of the story didn't really seem like that big of a deal, it was resolved with a simple conversation where they actually took the time to listen. I did enjoy pieces of it. I especially liked the talks about angels between Mrs. Miracle and the grandma.

pickAnother joyful book celebrating Christmas. Laurel has reached her limit in attempts to have or adopt a baby. Gritting her teeth and shutting down the subject, she moved on with her life. That is, until Mrs. Miracle comes to help her Nana.
so-soFinished this book on Christmas. It was okay. It did not give me the feels I was expecting. The story of Laurel getting to adopt a baby would have been good but the author gave away the ending early on so that investment just wasn't there.

I always love how Debbie Macomber can make you feel like you are wrapped in a warm blanket from her storytelling and this one was no different! I loved seeing what mrs. Miracle, Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy have been up to. A feel good holiday story for sure!
