Well this was a fast read. I liked that it only took a few hours to read. The story itself is so-so. Yes Alice‘s situation sucks, and in the end, everyone got what they deserved
I like the bow. I will be reading this next
It's #TopTenTuesday time! I started blogging 9/16/09, and these are my favorite reads from the first 4 months that I was a newbie blogger.

So I final picked a #characters17 for #screamqueens and I pick myself. I loved this book. It's short but it's a killer. I wanted to scream for help for our girl so many time. It's about being a stolen child for a pedophile.

3.No one will save you.”

Late post for yesterday's #girlinthetitle prompt for #readjanuary 👌🏻📚 All read and all picks! 🤘🏻
This is such a powerful story, it's definitely one that will keep me up at night after I finish it.
A short quick read. The story is about a girl who gets abducted and her life after the fact with flashbacks written through. It really didn't go into the story very much and just skimmed the surface of a plot that could have been a lot more.
When Alice was ten, Ray took her away from her family, her friends — her life. She learned to give up all power, to endure all pain. She waited for the nightmare to be over.
Now Alice is fifteen and Ray still has her, but he speaks more and more of her death. He does not know it is what she longs for. She does not know he has something more terrifying than death in mind for her.

I failed to feel anything for the protagonist, which says something as she was kidnapped, raped, and kept as a kiddie sex slave. If this book had been longer, I would've bailed. Boring to the Nth degree. If I want to read this subject matter I will read the real deal, like Hope by Amanda Berry.
