Pickpick

This book covers the execution of deposed English King Charles I, the subsequent Protectorate of Oliver Cromwell, the Restoration of the monarchy and the resulting manhunt for those responsible for the late King‘s murder. A period of British History that I became familiar with from a course I took in college and found very interesting. This event lay the seeds that you could reject royal power that helped form the mindset for our own revolution.

rwmg I'm currently reading this bio of Cromwell. Have you read it? It's a tome, so I think thorough is the best word. 100 pages to go 🙂 4y
Tkgbjenn1 I‘ll have to put this on my to read list. 4y
