I listened to this one since it was the December selection for our Friends of the Library group. It was strange for me. I‘ve never had so much admiration for a character but disliked the book at which that character was the center. I almost gave up on it, but I slogged through to the end. There‘s a story at the very end that pushed this from pan to so-so for me. Odd experience this one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Since that‘s where Ms. Elner‘s beloved husband is 😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This novel started off slow and I honestly almost gave up on it. Then there was a turning point, and it quickly picked up. I loved the characters and their stories, can't wait to read Fried Green Tomatoes! #bookstagram #book #bookworm
Still reading this one for pleasure as I read all the other stories for work ... Glad I've got something light and happy to turn to after a busy day. Hope all you other Book Dragons have an escape.
After a tough day debating students over the value of showing your work, doing research in books, and taking notes, I've turned to someone with a positive outlook on life - Elner Shimfizzle. (Just saying her name brings a smile) 😄
