Although I do have to read this book for my Argumentative writing class, I do enjoy the stories in it. There's a few I recognize from previous English classes in high school as well.

I'm stubborn so I usually finish what I start, no matter what, but here's a few that I #DNF. Some I plan to try again; others are a big nope. #ReadJanuary
Gormenghast - Struggled thru the 1st book & quit
Alice - Read the 1st book
American Gothic - Bailed. Twice.
Brief History - Put on hold to avoid spoilers
Kalevala - Good, but repetitive & LONG
Ulysses - WTF? Seriously.
Walden - Wanted to love it; got bored
Blockbuster Novel - On hold
I've fallen behind on the #booktober photo challenge so I'm trying to catch up! This one's on my currently reading list, but I've been neglecting it in favour of The Name of the Wind and some books about writing. #shortstories

I can't believe I missed this challenge yesterday!
This short story collection is fantastic; a wide variety of authors with some spine-tingling stories. The ones that you aren't always sure what exactly is going on. 👻
Here is my #ThrowbackThursday selection. Neither of these books are in the Litsy "card"Catalouge. I am glad that now we can suggest books. Will the day ever come when we can add books? I'm guessing that most of us have books that aren't in the "card"Catalouge.
Studying up! Goal: one story a day. Lots to learn!
