so-soAn anthology of titbits about the past and people who are not always recognised. I would have been more impressed if I hadn't checked the endnotes and found them full of wiki pages he'd cribbed from. It's written as if it's addressing the reader in quite a jokey style and to be honest I prefer my history better researched with more depth.
