I have a no to deliver this week. It's time to remove one of the eggs in my basket and replace it with a flower.
Finished this just in time for Small Group tomorrow.
"The decision you make determine the schedule you keep. The schedule you keep determines the life you live. And how you live your life determines how you spend your soul!"
#TBRtemptation post! I love chalkboard-type covers, don't you ☺️? This is a self-help book with a Christian undertone. Terkeurst discusses how to: deal with overwhelming schedules, say yes when time permits and how to say no when it doesn't, utilize a consistent decision-making process that keeps the short-term and long-term in mind. Sounds good to me! I can always find nuggets of benefit in those who have gone before. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
@Liberty I must have tea when I read! #BRAINFUEL 🤓📚☕️
"The decisions we make dictate the schedules we keep. The schedules we keep determine the lives we live. The lives we live determine how we spend our souls." How simply my life can change course in the little decisions, it struck me how much power is in an answer: yes or no. Lysa's powerful writing changes one's mindset, shaping the decision making process. Wisdom flows through every page, clarity bringing insights
I loved this book. It was inspiring and insightful!
One of the few books I have read twice. Bottom line: too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. Not everything is your best yes.
