I have a no to deliver this week. It's time to remove one of the eggs in my basket and replace it with a flower.

LisaJo @KathyWheeler That was my super big take away from this book. Sometimes the best yes is a no. 7y
KathyWheeler @LisaJo Mine too, and I really appreciated having it put in that way. 7y
Laura317 This book was a real eye-opener for this People-pleaser. It‘s made a world of difference in my life. 7y

KathyWheeler I really liked this book because I have such a difficult time saying “no” to people, and she taught me that sometimes it‘s necessary. My niece recommended it to me for that reason. 7y

#TBRtemptation post! I love chalkboard-type covers, don't you ☺️? This is a self-help book with a Christian undertone. Terkeurst discusses how to: deal with overwhelming schedules, say yes when time permits and how to say no when it doesn't, utilize a consistent decision-making process that keeps the short-term and long-term in mind. Sounds good to me! I can always find nuggets of benefit in those who have gone before. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

saresmoore I don't mean to be a spoil-sport, but I hated this book. 😬 8y
saresmoore (I'm the worst.) 8y

SaraFair Lol. I liked the book. However I will say parts were really good and parts (to me) weren't really needed to get the whole picture. 8y

"The decisions we make dictate the schedules we keep. The schedules we keep determine the lives we live. The lives we live determine how we spend our souls." How simply my life can change course in the little decisions, it struck me how much power is in an answer: yes or no. Lysa's powerful writing changes one's mindset, shaping the decision making process. Wisdom flows through every page, clarity bringing insights

One of the few books I have read twice. Bottom line: too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. Not everything is your best yes.
