Back to the Harry Hole series with Knife. It did not disappoint. 📚🗡
I mean, what else is there to say about this series. This one was exciting but also very emotional. Don't want to say too much and spoil anything. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
So this is the last one in the Harry Hole series- as of now. I will be sad to say goodbye to Harry if this truly ends up being the last one! Almost afraid to find out what happens in this one 🙈
I've really enjoyed the Harry Hole books and this one is the 12th in the series. In this one Harry's estranged wife Rakel is murdered and Harry takes it upon himself to find her killer 🖤

Hole has become such a miserable bastard. Too much going on in this book. Probably my least favorite HH so far.
Thank you for the tag @MoonWitch94 ♥
1. The tagged book is probably the one I enjoyed most so far in 2020. It was dark, eerie and with twists I could not predict.
2. Normally yes, I love doing that, but I had to stop doing this for a while because my tbr is getting to the point that I will have to live to 560 to finish all of it. 😂
I tag @nosferatu @bookadict @pratham49 if you want to play ♥
It was ok. I may be done with this series.
Knife is the twelfth installment in the Harry Hole crime series. The last couple of books haven't been that strong, but this one was good! So dark, and fastpaced, my heart aced for Harry.
I didn‘t see the twist coming, even though I thought I had! So any crime book that keep throwing surprises at me gets my attention. Very entertaining, but be warned, quite dark!
Read this for #AtY2020 for prompt 1: ‘title don‘t contain the letters A, T or Y‘
I feel like writing long reviews of books in long-standing crime series is a bit redundant. So I‘ll just say, this is probably the best Jo Nesbo/Harry Hole book I‘ve read. I normally hate the word “unputdownable” but this basically was. I thought I‘d cracked it a handful of times but I hadn‘t, and that‘s always fun. This is the Scandi-Noir of dreams.
I rarely read the last page of a book ahead of time but I had to with this one. I had to know the ending before I decided to finish the book. This was one thrilling book. Also finished a few other books in the last couple of weeks.
This was a great book, and classic Nesbø. Harry Hole is a fascinating character, and I loved the back story, and the twists and turns.
“That he shouldn‘t look at the oars, but keep his eyes on the wake, that the signs of what had already happened showed you where you were heading. But, his grandfather had said, they told you surprisingly little about what was going to happen. That was determined by the next stroke of the oars.” (p. 440)
I walked by the house with my favorite Halloween decorations on my #audiowalk and found this year's new addition. That's legit terrifying! (Especially while listening to an extremely disturbing Jo Nesbø novel.) #screamathon @4thhouseontheleft
Harry Hole, it's good to read you again.
As always, for me, with Nesbo's books, the plot gets a little confusing and unclear at times - perhaps that's part of the writing style, to deliberately drive up suspense.
There were some parts I didn't like, but on the (w)Hole, it's very enjoyable and I stayed up far too late finishing it because of it was so un-put-down-able.
Rather clever poster here at the train station in Harrogate for the #crimewritingfestival - geddit?!
It‘s a star-studded event, with authors including Harlan Coben, Ian Rankin, Mari Hannah, Val McDermid and of course, Jo Nesbo.
It‘s supposed to be really friendly, with authors, their interviewers and visitors all mingling freely (in the bar!) but I didn‘t get tickets again this year - they sell out sooo quickly....
How do you like the knife sticking out of this book? Nice gimmick. This would be the original language version of this book because Nesbo is Norwegian.
