pickNot as good as Rosemary‘s Baby or The Stepford Wives, but not a bad read either. It‘s a little slow in the beginning but it does get interesting. There was also a lot of differences between the film adaptation and the book so this ended up being less predictable for me, which was a nice surprise since I had expected it to be more like the film. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
pickI thought Rosemary‘s Baby was great, so I was looking forward to this book. Unfortunately, it didn‘t live up to my expectations. The quality of the writing didn‘t seem as good as the previous book.
The concept of invasion of privacy is interesting, but not as shocking as it was when this book was first published. Kay, the heroine, makes a lot of questionable decisions. It becomes hard to feel sorry for her since she sets herself up for trouble.
I want to read something different and out of my comfort zone.. So I'll try this Ira Levin's novel!
I don't know anything about this book, I just picked one of the weirdest cover in my father's collection.. The face is creepy, but the little falling man is kind of funny 😅
