My wonderful partner has decided to start buying me a monthly book! 😩 This is January's BOTM, with cute Disney princess paper! 🥰 He did so good! I'm so happy! 😁😍❤️
Lots of characters and we know who the villains are from the beginning. I bit long for the story. But overall an enjoyable read.
Really struggled to get going with this book, found it changing between characters so many times, at the beginning, really confusing. It did become a bit more exciting towards the end when the characters points of view start to merge. Overall an ok book to read.
Another great read in this series. This one was focused on ‘romance crime‘. You meet someone on the internet, you fall in love , they then ask you for lots of money! You give them it, then they run away, you lose your money and the love of your life. I found it hard not to be judgemental- really people fall for this 🤷♀️🤷♀️ but the story was great and it did try to rationalise how easily people fall for it.
#lunchtimeread - catching up on series reading.
And Happy Anniversary to me and hubby 🥂🥂
Bailed 😟 I REALLY don't like giving up on a book but it just felt horribly self indulgent and somewhat clinical. Just can't force myself to pick it back up
Yet another winner in the Roy Grace Series, it may be the fifteenth book in the series but far from ready to say goodbye to Roy Grace and the other characters in this series. Wasn‘t totally enamoured with the theme at the beginning but quickly totally hooked & needing to read on. If you like detective books and a good group of characters I strongly recommend this series to you. Unfortunately will be another year before my next fix of this series.
A cracking weekend‘s reading ahead of me as I finally have got hold of the latest Roy Grace (one of my favourite all time detective series - tagged book), start book 10 in the Excellent Ruth Galloway Series and seek to finish off Red Rising and the Inspector Montalbano book
What are you reading this weekend?
Jumping into another Peter James thriller. A handsome motivational speaker discovers his identity is being used to scam women who are looking for love online. The first he knew of it was a phone call from one of them, out of the blue, saying "you don't know me, but I thought I knew you".
That woman is now dead.
