We are considering getting chickens! We brought this book with us to lunch to discuss it. But mostly the discussion was, "No chickens in the house" and "No kissing the chickens." THAT'S NO FUN. I squealed a lot at the pictures and alarmed people in the restaurant. That WAS fun. ?

DreesReads I have had chickens for 5 years as of this summer! They are loads of fun, and will destroy your yard (though the drought has helped with that here). I do not allow chickens in the house! 10y

charminggoats They're a lot of work and there's an adjustment period, but chickens are pretty cool. Plus, if you feed them well, you'll find the eggs are tastier than the ones from the store! 10y

Connie Ahh please let me know if you get chicks!! I raised 13 of them when I was a kid. They were surprisingly great pets even in ny! We usually left them outside even at night because of the smell 😅 10y
