Esta fue una lectura difícil porque aunque se han avanzado en mucho de los temas tratados en este libros y en los derechos de la mujer la repetición de estas problemáticas en la actualidad nunca deja de sorprenderme. #threeguineas

Say what?!? Virginia Woolf mentions an attempt, some 300 years ago now, by a Mary Astell, to found a university for women. With monetary aid of the Princess Anne. But the church intervened. The bishop seemed to think that education would turn Protestant women into Catholics? From learning Latin, or what? 🙄😆 Why was this not a risk with men? Or were Catholics more pro education? I might have to google the incident.
