pickI've loved all the Firefly books in this series so far, so it's no surprise I loved this one too. The narration was awesome; James Anderson Foster really does the series justice, and I love listening to him read.

Hour 8 and I'm multitasking and listening my audiobook. My 9yo has decided to join me, and he's reading the last book in Rick Riordan's Trial of Apollo series. I'm getting restless, which is usual for me at this point in the #readathon, so I'm getting some #springcleaning done and prepping snack plates for later.

Of the five Firefly books that have been released so far (6 is apparently due out mid-August), this was my least favorite. The story had potential, but it wasn't realized in a satisfying way. It's saving grace is that I always enjoy spending time with the crew of Serenity, but it wasn't enough to make it a pick.
pickNothing in the verse can stop River Tam. This was another enjoyable tie-in novel set in Joss Whedon's Firefly universe with Mal Renoylds and crew.
