pickBook one for July 2019's #24in48 #readathon is done! And I've made strides in my Sherlock Holmes audiobook.👍🏽This book was a great way for me to start the 'thon. it's been a while since I've read a true cozy mystery, and I can always rely on Lori and Aunt Dimity to reignite my enjoyment of the genre. The story was simple, the mystery not so mystery, and the reading was light. Perfect! 3/5⭐️

so-soThis was a lot fluffier than I remember the series to be. Lori is concerned that the vacant cottages in town are not selling and thinks the realtor may be in cahoots with a developer to keep the houses vacant and drive down the price of the house so the developer can swoop in and turn them into summer homes. There was a secondary plot line that was just as frivolous. I doubt I will continue with this series as it has gotten too cozy for my tastes.
