Mehso-so

Kind of an uneven read. Lectures form 1963 by physicist Richard Feynman on the impact of science on other fields. First two essays are organized and provocative. Third is all over the place but makes some interesting points that will be important after the Challenger disaster. https://cannonballread.com/2019/07/the-meaning-of-it-all-thoughts-of-a-citizen-s...

The witch doctor says he knows how to cure...If I'm in the tribe and I'm sick, I go to the witch doctor. He knows more about it than anyone else. But I keep trying to tell him he doesn't know what he's doing and that someday when people investigate the thing freely and get free of all his complicated ideas they'll learn much better ways of doing it. Who are the witch doctors? Psychoanalysts and psychiatrists, of course.

#BookNDinner! Late one tonight, but it was gooood! Accompaniment this frigid and sleeting night: pepperoni & bacon stuffed-crust pizza and sparkling mineral water. MMMMmmmm 😋! This has been another presentation of: #MrBookBookBabeKitchen. Happy reads & happy eats! 😎👌🏻
