This #audiobook is excellent. The author reads his own poems but he also explains things as he's going along. Not sure that exists in the print version.

Really loved this poetry collection, with its meditations on race and love and pop culture.
It‘s interesting coming back to Abdurraqib‘s poetry after having mostly spent time with his prose lately. There‘s a lot I recognize here from his earlier work—the use of pop culture touchstones to explore the personal, the longing quality in considering love and loss and solitude, the beauty and terror of black life—but this also feels like an evolution. Particularly in how he uses voice, this feels new. Highly recommend.
Incredible book, incredible author! 📕 In his much-anticipated follow-up to The Crown Ain't Worth Much, poet, essayist, biographer, and music critic Hanif Abdurraqib has written a book of poems about how one rebuilds oneself after a heartbreak, the kind that renders them a different version of themselves than the one they knew. ❤ SIGNED COPIES: https://www.strandbooks.com/poetry-1/a-fortune-for-your-disaster/
