I finished listening to the Long Shot playlist today at the dog park with my dog. I only had the last two songs to listen to. Kennedy Ryan made Spotify playlists for all 3 books in the Hoops series. I‘ve already read the books. I didn‘t like every song on here but it gave me a chance to listen to some new songs I haven‘t heard before.

I‘ve been listening to this playlist at the dog park with my dog when I‘ve been going and so far, it has some good songs but I don‘t like every song. Some of the songs on this playlist are too slow to listen to while walking. I prefer to listen to faster songs while walking. Maybe this isn‘t a good playlist to listen to while walking but this would probably be a good playlist to listen to when I‘m not walking.

For #tuesdaytunes, I‘m sharing this playlist I started listening to yesterday on Spotify when I was at the dog park with my dog. Today at the dog park, I didn‘t listen to music. I started listening to a Netgalley audiobook about time management called Timeboxing. I didn‘t get very far in the book but it‘s interesting.

Quick palette cleanser before my next book which is bound to be heavy.

I'm just all about the steamy romance lately (major mood reader over here, what can I say), and definitely getting my #kindleunlimited money's worth! This book (featuring a basketball 🏀 mc) was steamy but also SO SAD. Definitely check the trigger warnings if that's something you're sensitive to. I almost felt like August was too good to be true, but what else is new with this genre (I say as I plow through romance while a single cat lady).

I finished the first book Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan in the box set I‘m currently reading that has all 3 books in the series and at the end of the ebook, Kennedy Ryan included a link to a Spotify playlist she made for the book Long Shot. I haven‘t listened to this playlist yet but I thought this was really cool. I saved this playlist to my Spotify Library so I can listen to it later.

I‘ve decided to start the Hoops series by Kennedy Ryan. This is good so far. I want to keep reading this book. It‘s very sad reading what‘s going on with Iris in the first book. I just hope everything works out for her in the end.

I forgot to mention the Hoops series by Kennedy Ryan. I know that this series has been getting a lot of hype on #booktok. I want to read this series. It sounds really good. I‘m just concerned about the content warnings because I don‘t know if I‘ll be able to handle reading it. However, I won‘t know unless I try reading it. If I can‘t handle reading it then I‘ll stop reading it.

I have legit cried myself to sleep reading this book. At first I thought it was just a sports romance with a regular jock and need kinda thing, BUt it's so much more. I would definitely give it a 5 star review. It is amzingly written and I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Book 69

I haven‘t finished a book in two weeks. Vacation put me in a reading funk. Came home with next months Fountain Flirt book club read today and this cover was calling my name so I gave it a try and can happily say that I‘m back in a groove!

Can we talk about how smoldering hot this guy is? No question this had to be a physical book.

Next book I'm reading this long weekend is a sports romance. This one deals heavily with domestic abuse (not by the hero). #romantsy

I also can't think of a sports romance I've read that has a basketball player. This will be my first. 🏀

Brought home a couple more library books I plan (🤞) on reading this month between ARCs. #romantsy

Been a busy couple of weeks, but I‘m thankful for my #poutinepenpals for keeping it entertaining. Not much reading done the last little while, but on holidays as of Wednesday and I can‘t wait!

This book is wrecking me! ❤️ it!

Holy crap this was a really good read for me. Trigger warning: there is rape and domestic abuse in this book, but it is a beautiful story and Iris does get her HEA. This book made me cry and I identified with this character. August is such a sweetheart and so good to Iris. This is definitely worth the read for me

I don‘t think I‘ve ever read a romance novel where the H is a basketball player! I‘ve read football, soccer, baseball, rugby, etc. but I can‘t recall out of any of the thousands of books I‘ve read, one being about a basketball player...

This book definitely has triggers! But it was such a good book! I love how Iris conquers and comes ahead for herself and her daughter. And August West is the most perfect man! Love how caring and considerate he is
