It‘s history, ā€part British colony, part New Worldā€¯, society, customs, & it‘s examination of women roles & restrictions are highlighted in this wonderful whodunit.Detective Murdock is a full dimensional character who cracks the case while grieving for his dead fiancé,taking dancing lessons & training for a bike race. Both mysteries provided a much needed escape!
