Man, can Tami write, this was one hell of a book..great story line, characters you want to know more of..hoping the end keeps them safe. Hard to put down, grabs you from the first chapter.

Very good!! I've been needing a new crime fiction author to binge and I've never read anything by Tami Hoag before so I'll for sure be reading more of her stuff. A definite page turner.

I do so love sniffing out a cute bakery! And this one has the added benefit of a cute and airy patio, perfect for getting some chapters in on my new book (which is really good so far!)

PS: A little visitor tried to creep up on my chocolate croissant right as I went to take the photo 😂

Wow, this was quite the book. I didn‘t want to put it down. It was like a Law and Order SVU or Criminal Minds episode. The timeline was a bit rushed, but that didn‘t take away anything from the story for me. There were a few bits that surprised me and I‘ll definitely continue reading this series along with more from Tami Hoag!

Started reading this one today! Loaned from a friend ages ago so I‘m glad to finally be starting it.

For fans of thrillers and mysteries, this is a must read. I was very proud to say I figured out who the killer was early on, but the author had me second guessing my thoughts more than once.

Imagine being a child, out with your friends, when you literally stumble upon a dead body? That is exactly what happened to start off the story and that is not the last body that is about to turn up...

Nonstop thriller and moments where I gasped!

Loved this creepy thriller. It was full of suspense and not dry at one point. I really enjoyed this and I love that it‘s a series because I also really enjoyed the characters and am excited to read more!

Finished this one today on the homeward commute, and it was definitely so-so for me. The central story was good but there were too MANY stories, especially for what was supposedly a quiet little college town, and too many POV changes. Trigger warnings for child and domestic abuse.

I recently read this book and did not get it back to the library in a timely manner. I accrued fines of $2.00. I am a terrible library patron. To make matters worse, I saw the book today at the flea market for 50 cents.

This was a quick, perfect for summer read. It wasn't too difficult to figure out the killer's identity, but it was still an interesting mystery.

I recently started reading this on the recommendation of a friend. It is not one I would normally choose, but it has a quick beginning to draw the reader in. It's interesting because it is set in the 1980s, so the detectives have to work without modern technology.
