This is book 17.5 book in the series containing 2 books. It was different. A case that was never solved ends up in Eve Dallas lap years later. We see characters grow as well both in the 1st and 2nd half of the book. I enjoyed this month's book in the series very much. #Read2025 @DieAReader

#InDeathLongReadalong Hey #IDLR friends, I know we still have a week with Imitation in Death (I still have no clue as to who the killer is) - but I wanted to post our next read now so we can find the book. It‘s different this time around because there is a Roberts book that ties in with the next In Death book so we‘ll read it first. You can find Hot Rocks by Roberts in the anthology Remember When or on its own. ⬇️
pickThis was an intriguing book - both parts written by the same person (Nora Roberts) but the second one is under her pen name (J D Robb). I'm a big fan of the In Death series by Robb, but I'd not read anything by Nora Roberts yet as I'm not really a romance reader. The diamond heist kept things ticking along in the first part of the book but it did take me a while to read it. The second part was much more my thing. 4🌟
