Visiting our son, and hubby pulled this Bradbury collection from the bookcase. He insisted I read this story. I‘m glad he did.

Ending my first day as 33 like this 🤩😍🎄 Thank you SO much for all lovely greetings ❤
It‘s been months since I‘ve done one of these, but I love that question 2 really made me think hard about my choice.
1. Bread-butter-cheese - I‘m counting it as one food 😂
2. Ray Bradbury - I could re-read his short stories forever.
3. Hmmmm...I remember having a big crush on Robin Hood (🦊) in Disney‘s animated version.
4. Yikes - I don‘t really like to do either, but it‘s easier for me to get up early than stay up late.
5. Ok!

Bradbury is my all time favorite sci fi writer and favorite short story writer. And he was an incredibly voracious reader so it was hard to pinpoint his favorite book but Verne is usually mentioned among his influences so I picked a Verne cover of a story I loved myself.
My all time favourite author, anything of Ray Bradbury's is worth investing your time. His earlier short tales rank among his best work, stories such as 'Skeleton,' 'The Jar' and 'The Small Assassin' are simply unforgettable. His first pro-sale story, 'The Lake,' is one of the few works of fiction to make me cry. In short: If it has Ray Bradbury's name on it, you should probably read it.
When you're supposed to be spending the day doing homework but instead find yourself obsessively reading the wonderful Ray Bradbury! ?
"Somewhere a band is playing
Listen, O, listen, that tune?
Learn it and you'll dance on forever
In June and yet June and more...June."
We had a wonderful meeting of #TheOmnivorousBookClub tonight ???????! This month's theme was "A Haunting We Will Go". Lots of great books. Lots of great treats. Lots of great people. I love my book clubs. ???? #LitsyLovesLibraries
Amazing collection of some of Bradburys best work. Interesting way to arrange stories as some of them are parts of a greater collection. 10/10 Bradbury will always be a classic.
I was so busy rushing headlong into the future, loving libraries and books and authors with all my heart and soul, was so consumed with becoming myself but I simply didn't notice that I was short, homely, and untalented. Perhaps, in some corner of my mind, I did know.
Perfect bite sized stories from one of my favorite authors. I'm loving it so far.
