Watership Down is my all time favorite since I was a kid. I‘ve reread it many times.
I am not a mother, but The Hen wrecked me & I loved it.
As an #AllHallowsRead bonus recommendation I suggest Pines. I zipped through it and it kept me guessing. A fun Halloween read. I even liked the (first season anyway) tv series.

I tagged the Pines Trilogy because I tore through them within days and they introduced me to Blake Crouch, who is now one of my favorite authors..

I‘ve been very pleasantly surprised by two trilogies - Wayward Pines by Blake Crouch & Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake. I came into each of their first books with low expectations and was then blown away. I devoured the next two Pines books & can‘t wait for the next Dark Crowns Book. I now have two new authors added to my favorites.

Using my Kindle Unlimited powers for good: flying through some thrilling summer reading. While I wasn't a huge fan of his writing style, I enjoyed the storyline and am looking forward to watching the series.

If it makes you feel better... Nine books in a month is exceptional & only because I came across this trilogy that stopped time for me. Normally I am lucky to get 4 or 5 books read in a month!
