Shannon Hale is one of my insta buy authors. She writes a mean fairytale retelling (and by that I actually mean lovely, heartwarming and heroic one) and I love her slow burning love stories...

While Dangerous still had a bit of romance it was a modern scifi and it fell really flat for me. The climax felt too forced, I had hard time getting into the characters and the villains just felt flat and cookie cutter.
