Reading this cozy mystery to my mom.

18/22 I have FINALLY finished this book. It took a very long time. Not because it was long, but because the terrible writing style made it feel 20 times longer than it is. Repetitive to the extreme, ridiculous descriptions of totally unnecessary things , all filler AND every character spoke in what I can only imagine is the authors voice with the authors vocab. Just bad. But it did tick off #setinaninn for #booked2022 #roadtripUSA2022 #Oregan 1⭐️

Slightly gothic cozy crime, first in a fairly incredibly long series. Perfectly average and I mean that as a huge compliment. Just take me away to average land with an decently written historic murder mystery, some light romance, a missing diamond and emerald necklace. Ok the fact that the MC is attracted to a sexy ghost is a bit weird but I can live with it. Vanilla escapism and that is pretty much what I want in March 2022. 💛 💙

🎧 Time for a palate cleanser! This is the 1st book in the Haunting Danielle series of 27 books with adorable covers!

This book is a light haunted house/ghost story. Danielle can see & talk to ghosts. She inherits a mansion that she plans to turn into a B&B but is sidetracked by solving multiple murders.

Fun, light hearted, fluff. No romance. Great to listen to while doing simple tasks. I‘ll definitely listen to all of them eventually.

Danielle Bodeman has just an inherited a house from a great aunt, a house that she didn't know existed. Upon her arrival, she finds a ghost who can't leave and some mysteries on her hands. First she is trying to find out how her ghost died, he's adamant he didn't kill himself. The other, an unknown, has people breaking into her house. Can she solve them? I enjoyed this audiobook. The only gripe I had was that some chapters seem to end abruptly.

A really fun cozy that I never totally figured out. It‘s fall so all things ghost (or witchy) are extra exciting to me right now! I just want to binge on Halloween reads and movies!

Joe Morelli is a cop 🤦‍♀️Excellent book so far but you shouldn‘t copy a well known character.

Snuck in some lunch time reading- cozy lovers this book is so good!

Listening to it on audio from the library I was hesitant wasn‘t sure I was gonna like it but I do!! I‘m almost done the book
