tokorowilliamwallace @wordslinger42, yes, I have a difficult time getting into them, even though with my almost-exclusively have mood reading habits, it is kind of writing which I *should* be more into! I've begun one of Gogol and one of Murakami, but am hardly in the mood for a short story. And I think my comprehension just wavers with having to read multiple short stories in succession. Not sure why. I hope you will include on your review your first experience. 3y

so-so

I read Friday Night knitting club years ago as a break from technology books and certification tests. Back then I loved the book and enjoyed the sequel. I came upon this book last winter and saved it for this month. Funny how the characters came back to me as each was reintroduced. The actual story though, meh.
