Solid debut filled with adventure and magic and mystery. I loved the premise.

This book was great! It was super fast paced and hooked me from the beginning. I loved how Astrid would do anything to protect her little brother. I did feel that the ending was rushed the the motivations of a few key characters were unclear and it is really nagging at me. I‘ll put those concerns in a spoiler in the comments, but if you love #yafantasy read this!
