Mina, seventeen, has everything going for her until she discovers she is pregnant and no one, especially her boyfriend and her father, will believe that she is a virgin except for the few who have faith that miracles are possible and that her unborn child could be the greatest miracle of all.

This book poses a lot of questions, but it doesn‘t really answer any of them for me. Not the big ones. I feel pretty disappointed by this story. I think more time could have been spent on telling us more about what‘s happening.

Just started this and it‘s ok so far. I don‘t get how you can get pregnant while being a virgin but I‘m guessing it will be explained.

AlaMich Clearly you have never watched Jane The Virgin! 😉 5y
BookishGirl06 @AlaMich no lol. Not a big tv person 5y
AlaMich @BookishGirl06 Jane gets pregnant by being accidentally inseminated by her ob/gyn. Happens all the time! 😂 5y
BookishGirl06 @AlaMich lol. Wow. Probably not what‘s happening here. This girl probably hasn‘t even been to the on/gyn yet lol 5y

Pickpick

Captivating. A modern-day miracle illuminates faithlessness and ruthlessness of humanity. But it also shows the bonds that form and break with struggles, and the beauty of loyalty, even when loyalty requires a new mindset. The characterization in this book was flawless and the plot was interesting, if somewhat predictable in this horrible, horrible way which made me seriously question humanity, but kept my interest far, far past my bedtime.
