The emotion of the story itself covered for some of the unrealistic situations that would normally frustrate me. Mainly the secrets and privacy that just doesn‘t exist in real life. I loved the characters and felt very connected. There is gruesome retellings of domestic violence but for me it added to the emotion. Will definitely check out more by this author. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently bought this book at my local Books A Million store. I love cafe setting books so I had to have it. My goal is to read it this Spring.

I just finished this one. It was super long listen but went quick. It didn‘t drag and all strings were tied up nicely in the end. Highly recommend! I give it a 10!

I‘m always drawn to stories that take place in South Carolina. Stumbled upon this one in the depths of Hoopla #hoopladigital #libraryapps
