pickThis release is a bindup of the first 2 volumes of Saiyuki. I enjoyed this immensely and I can already feel myself being sad over the fact that there are only 9 volumes (in this first part, not including reload, gaiden, etc).
All the characters are great but Hakkai in particular....yes. 💜
I haven‘t shown you all yet but my final collectors edition of Saiyuki finally came in! (Weeks ago haha) I now have the Complete set of my absolute favorite manga in the hardcover Resurrected Editions. And now I will binge read them to see the new translations and cleaned art! Gosh I love this series so much. I hope they rerelease the follow up series and finally release the prequel series in legal official English translations.
I wanted to share this here, I have been working diligently on building my bookstagram this last week, and while my reach is slowly growing, it‘s organic and I love it. My pictures have started to get a lot better (in my eyes they have) but I really love how this one turned out. Saiyuki is my all time favorite manga so it‘s special in my heart. And I just wanted to share it with my Litsy family.
