Cat Midhir has made a name for herself as the author of popular fantasy novels, but her fans do not know that Cat's mysterious Otherworld is no fantasy--it is a real place where she wanders at night with the bright lords and the horned woman beneath the silver moon. Reprint.

Pickpick

An early book from one of my favourite authors, Charles de Lint, a pioneer of urban fantasy. I liked the setting, Ottawa in the mid-80‘s. I lived there for a couple of summers, so many places felt familiar.

Total for the #20in4 readathon so far: 12 hours and 50 minutes. @Andrew65

Nothing like a good fantasy on a rainy Sunday--this one's a little lighter than his other works, but still sets the mood perfectly 🌧🌚 #charlesdelint

Mehso-so

This was good. I liked the real world sections of the book more than the dream sections. Cat didn‘t really have friends in the real world, so I enjoyed the sections where she was making friends (though that was more secondary to the story). Cont in comments...

LibraryCin There were a lot of characters introduced at the very start of the book, so I was afraid I would get them confused, but surprisingly, it was rare to not figure out who we were following in the story fairly quickly – de Lint must have given enough clues to be able to follow easily. 7y
