I have been a Guardians of the Galaxy fan for years. Bendis is one of my favorite writers for Marvel. This should have been great, but it really fell flat for me. Angela was created by Neil Gaiman and Todd MacFarlane for the Spawn universe. This crossover was totally underwhelming. Most of Star Lord and Rocket's good one-liners were given to Iron Man, Angela's character was never developed, and the art changed between each issue.

The little guy is spending the night with my in-laws so Tony and I had an impromptu date night - dinner and a beer at a nearby brewery and then Guardians of the Galaxy 2. We both really enjoyed it, but not quite as much as the first one. Now, some time with my book before bed!

It's probably more somewhere between pick and so-so but i'm rounding up. I liked the way it tied in with Infinity and those particular issues were really cool. I didn't quite understand Stark's point, Gamora was underserved and Angela is awesome but needs more clothes. Still fun though.
