This I difficult to review. It's very fragmented and the original premise (investigating winning lottery numbers found inside fortune cookies) is soon lost. Some chapters could easily have been shortened or removed altogether. Despite this there's a wealth of fascinating info about Chinese and Chinese-American people and their food in the USA to make it well worth reading & overall Lee's writing is clear and engaging. #LRC1 #nonfictionchallenge17
