Gonna start reading this tonight. I saw the movie in AMC but haven‘t read the book. Found it at the book fair.
Genre: Non-Fiction
Date Started: September 12
Date Completed: September 21
How did you choose this book: I was looking for a nonfiction book at the bookfair and this book caught my eye.
Write a brief summary of the novel; who was the protagonist; what was his/her problem and how was the problem resolved? A dog named Bella went missing and travel far away from her owner, in order to get back she has to go through the wilderness of Colorado.
I interrupted my dog‘s nap to take this photo 😀. This was a good, engaging read. Dog lovers will love it.

*The title of this song made me think of Cameron‘s book (tagged)—I suppose I‘m always thinking about animals! Not sure why I do that 🐰🐇🐣😻🐶🐹🐻🐶🐱🐷🐨🐧! 😱
BUT! I don‘t think there was any other album that I played more than this one when it came out (and for years after that—I wore out the cassette in my car!). I loved Supertramp! (Guess I still do...)
I feel like reading some light fiction...so here goes. Plus the cute dog on the cover helps 😀
7 year old loves audiobooks. We only let her count it as her “reading” time for school if she follows along in print.. it‘s a great way for her to read and enjoy books that might be slightly above her reading level. She is desperate to finish this one, so she wanted to read before school today.
7 year old packing for a sleepover at her aunts house. Requested her book with her kindle to play the audiobook on while she reads. 💗
Going to read the book first and am really excited to see the movie.
What an amazing tale! No pun intended 🐾 I finished it in just a day because of this crazy snow storm! And what goes perfectly with a great book and snow? Chicken noodle soup... This book was beautifully written with humor, sadness, adventure, and victory. I loved it! I will say, it is a bit... Childish? Though, maybe the author meant to be since dogs are a bit simple in their thinking. I recommend this to anyone in need of a good win!

Thanks for the birthday gift, mom!
My favourite part so far is Chapter 3, page 41. Lucas stands up for the cats, and risks being hurt, arrested, and even being killed.
I‘ve been at a conference for work this week. We‘ve been able to eat dinner with and meet some amazing authors. They‘ve signed their books for us too.
They were all so friendly and a joy to speak with.
Here‘s group 1 with W. Bruce Cameron, Dusti Bowling and Shannon Messenger.
Lucas finds an dog in an abandoned building. Animal control has labeled it a pit bull which is against the law in Denver. To save Bella from certain death Lucas finds a foster home 400 miles away. Bella rejects the separation, escapes and starts her long journey home. Her encounters along the way are both friend and foe. A wonderful dog story!
#BeastsGiveawayChallenge. Peanut will not go outside this morning it is raining and she just might melt! #stubbornpug #thispugisaslug
