I enjoyed this cozy mystery. It was a quick read and kept my attention. I am excited to continue the series to see what other adventures Fee and Petunia have.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fiona Fleming inherits Petunia's Bed & Breakfast from her grandmother, but shortly thereafter, Pete Wilkins informs her that her grandmother signed the deed to Petunia's over to him before she died. And then Pete turns up dead in the koi pond at Petunia's. Fiona, the daughter of a former detective, decides to take matters into her own hands to try to figure out what happened to Pete, and why he thought he was the new owner of Petinua's.

Refreshing plot that took me to a place and time of small town living. The main character was so independent, and sometimes seemed pushy, but she got things done! Would love to read more from #PattiLarsen

This was my first cozy mystery. It was assigned in a book club and met a challenge prompt for "food or drink on the cover". It was enjoyable enough and I can definitely see why people would like books like these. The main character in this cozy mystery was relatable and the story flows well, making it an super easy read. The whodunnit aspect is pretty fun too, reminding me a bit of books I read and really enjoyed as a kid.

⭐⭐
I got this "cozy" mystery for free for kindle, and I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I was also glad it was relatively short (maybe 3 hours of reading time). The story was all over the place, and I felt like the author was just throwing so many random tropes in because she didn't know what to do with the plot. It could have done with some editing and polish. Not the worst thing I've read, but not worth continuing the series.

xxjenadanxx Agreed, it was cluttered and messy. I read it for the Monthly Book Club on FB, how about you? 6y
Traci1 @xxjenadanxx yep that's why I read it. Although it was already on my kindle from who knows when. I feel kind of bad about not liking it. I always feel a bit guilty when it's an indie author. 6y
xxjenadanxx @Traci1 aww I get that, but unfortunately they can‘t all be great! 6y

This was just okay for me. It was a book club pick so I felt obligated to read it or I probably wouldn‘t have. It felt unnecessarily clutter to me. Both in writing style and content. While it did get better/more interesting about halfway in I don‘t think I‘ll be revisiting Fee anytime soon.

This book was really cute! It was my first cozy mystery ever and I really liked it. I'm definitely going to finish the series! Have you read a cozy mystery before?

Traci1 I love cozies. They're great when I need a stress free read in between heavier stuff. 6y
Brewychock48 I love cozies. Fun,light reads and likeable characters. My favorites are book/library, animal or food themed. 6y

😂😂 I have absolutely no idea about this one. I had to google books set in a B&B. Nothing like a little murder with your poached eggs in the morning.

vkois88 Sounds like a fun read though! 6y
