I'm taking a break. Boo wants to get linner. And a head light.
Orphaned Bee runs from her unhappy foster home and becomes an apprentice to a baker, where it becomes clear that she has some magic. This charming fairy tale is a great palette cleanser and quick listen/read. It‘s light and delightful.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super fun read!! This was another free audiobook from audiobooksync.com and it is narrated by one of my favorite narrators: Tavia Gilbert! The book itself is absolutely amazing for a mid-grade level book! I honestly did not find out it was mid-grade until I was half way through it! It really was a super fun read!!
In a place where there is magic but no trees, a young orphan girl learns she can cook her feelings into food. The characters are fun and there is imagination to spare but there was never much in the way of danger or suspense . The story was a little flat.
