pickThis was a fun YA and I enjoyed the mysticism of the story. I especially appreciated that the main characters were special for given reasons and the adults were treated like adults and not idiots. I'll definitely be finishing the series.
so-soI really, really wanted this to be a Pick rating but I felt the story took quite a while to get going! I was over half way through the book before things got really interesting. By the end though, I was really enjoying it and looking forward to reading the next one. I'm hoping the second one will be able to pull me in much sooner than this one did.
