This new case study challenges readers to help a leading online book swap site retool its business model to overcome increased postal costs and the growing popularity of e-books. Crystallizing realistic analytical challenges faced by companies in many industries and markets, it exposes readers to the entire decision-making process, providing opportunities to perform analyses, interpret output, and recommend the best course of action. I was reminded of Paperback Swap while reviewing KadaGul‘s profile last week. I was able to get my account reopened. I‘m 1 for 5 for receiving vs mailing. I forgot about the expense of postage. However, all the books I‘m sending have already been cycled thru my Little Free Library so it‘s time to send them where they are wanted. 📚

KadaGul @Princess-Kingofkings I love NBS/PBS. There‘s something almost magical about sending and receiving books from remote locations, like trading secret treasures with people from far-off lands. 3mo

Just out of curiosity, does anyone else here use #PaperBackSwap ? I‘ve been using it for years now, mostly to trade audiobooks. I know it‘s not for everyone, but if you add a book to your wishlist early (like prior to its release date), you‘ll have a pretty good chance of getting a copy shortly after it comes out.

Crazeedi Never heard of this but it looks great! 6y
Soubhiville I used to, but now I tend to just visit Little Free Libraries or give my read books away here on Litsy 😊 6y
Zelma I used to use it but preferred Bookmooch. However, I stopped using either of them as I rarely find what I want. 6y
