Hey Book 🦋🦋🦋!
#Readathon Update:
So I finished Fraternity by Juan Díaz Canales and, oh my goodness, the violence in that graphic novel was so...graphic. I wasn't expecting that, but still the story was interesting.
I also finished Skyward Vol 2: Here There Be Dragonflies by Joe Henderson! I really like this series & definitely plan to read Vol. 3!
Now I'm continuing Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart.
Any surprising reads for you lately?
Love this series!! Such a great premise and awesome illustrations!! Plus- it starts out in Chicago!! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This graphic novel series is so interesting. Be of a scientific mishap her father made, our main character has grown up in a world without gravity. There‘s lots of plots that different people have about how they think the world should be. This volume features giant carnivorous bugs! Will definitely be continuing with this series
It‘s book fair week which means the tagged comic is about what I have the bandwidth for. In this volume, Willa & Edison flee Chicago one step ahead of Barrow who is desperate to stop them from reaching Kansas City. The world outside the city is dangerous & filled with giant man-eating bugs & as secrets are revealed Willa will have decide who to trust & exactly what restoring gravity will cost her. Great story & fantastic art.
