

Such a good book! I have not read anything about adoption until now, and I feel like this was a perfect start. It was very heartfelt and educational; it made me think of my own Black friends who were adopted, in a different way; it made me think differently of how they‘ve talked about future parenting prospects in their lives. Adoption is raved about by the anti-abortion crowd, and white saviors. There is so much that isn‘t said, that is ⬇️
