Anyone love these?
I can feel a slump coming so I need some book suggestions. I would prefer a book that's not super long or in a series ( some exceptions if you really loved it ) #booksuggestions
School books are ruining my tbr :( for this month #AprilTbr
Am I the only one who has tbr piles following me everywhere I go?😂 #tbr
GARBLED OPENING LINES: "I can't see!" "Come to me." "Follow my voice."
I stayed on the edge of my seat. The 1920s-style singing, bull-dozers in the background, the sound of a needle on a 78 rpm recording. (Ask your grandparents.) But the opening cries of the sisters in the fire will grab you and not let go. An interview session with the cast and crew sounds like a podcast and is the crowning touch. Surprise by Robin Miles. Bravo! #audiofile
"In the Embers"
I found an audio production that I wish I could read. It opens with a garbled recording of voices of frantic victims in a 1920's barn fire on the fictional Tulle Hill Plantation in Maryland. What's really gripping is that the recording is etched into a charred wooden beam that's been unearthed by an archeologist; and is being played back 85 years later by laser. The archaeologist assembles a team to learn more about the victims.
I wish this app had an option for posting without mentioning a book. Anyway this is my February Wrap Up I read/listened to 5 books in total still beating my New Years resolution of 3 books per a month. #wrapup #newyearsresolution
