“But he‘s afraid of the dark. And so I leave the lamp outside his room until he falls asleep.”
“But he‘s afraid of the dark. And so I leave the lamp outside his room until he falls asleep.”
The majority of the text was typed, but I enjoyed that certain parts were handwritten and unique. This added a different style to the book that I found amusing.
The characterization of this story is very unique and a great message for children. With the dad being viewed so highly from a child‘s perspective, it is also important for them to know not everyone is perfect and they may have traits about them that are unexpected. Showing the dad in a childlike manner helps children realize they aren‘t all that different.
“One more story please just one more”
It‘s funny how the dad acts like a child and doesn‘t want to go to bed.
This book has very thick pages and I love how the words are written. It last very unique as the son has to go through things to get his tireless, scared dad to sleep.
