#WhereAreYouMonday @Cupcake12

I‘m in the Cotswolds!!! I had to do a little bit of research because the name of the town is a fictional place, but apparently it‘s based on a Cotswold village.

Cupcake12 I live around 30 mins away x 4mo

Christmas and murder mysteries always seem so comfortable together!

https://crimereads.com/why-do-i-think-about-murder-so-much/

AmyG I am always fascinated by murder. What makes people kill? Ha….and on the holidays??? 🤣 2y
Mitch @AmyG I know - holiday season seems to bring out the best in people! 🤣🤣at here was even a campaign - A Christie for Christmas- in the 1950s urging everyone to read crime at Christmas! 2y

#WondrousWednesday @Eggs
Thanks for the tag @Ast_Arslan ☺️

1. I pulled my storygraph stats from last year. Besides Christie, some new favorite authors have emerged

2. If it's warm, my hammock outside or the rocking chair on the front porch. Otherwise, on the couch with one or more of my kitties 😻

3. Yes I love the motivation they bring!

Not a book but a physical journey recommendation!
In a small coastal town in Oregon, USA there is a hotel right on the beach called the Sylvia Beach Hotel. The rooms are booked themed (my personal favorites Jules Verne & Agatha Christie)
There are reading rooms, a small communal kitchenette, a resident cat for your lap, with breakfast & dinner all locally grown some from chefs garden!

Deblovestoread My daughter and I were just there Memorial Day weekend in the Emily Dickinson room. I‘ve lived in Oregon most of my life and it was our first visit. Won‘t be my last! 😊 3y
ChaoticMissAdventures @Kdgordon88 lucky!! Isn't there food amazing? I live in PDX and have been a couple of time and love it each time. Have not been since the start of COVID, I hope they are doing well through it. 3y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I would love to go here!! 3y

I‘ve made it: during the past year I‘ve listend to ALL of Dame Agathas 33 Hercule Poirot novels, most of them read by David Suchet. I was surprised by how timeless most stories are, having aged well with their underlying themes on feminism, independence and a changing social climate. Combined with Christies wit, (self)irony and readable fondness for the Belgian detective this has become true love for me. My faves? Mh...EVIL UNDER THE SUN?

MayJasper Congratulations and I also love your image 😊 6y
