The English assassin was a “gun” for hire, although he preferred a knife as his weapon of choice. He was hired to do a job and he doesn‘t regret doing his job as it was restitution for what had been done to others. The characters were quite interesting. 4/5

Even better than the first Allon novel. I was totally drawn into the intrigue of the secretive world of the Swiss bankers and their dark secrets and the talented Anna Rolfe. Can‘t wait to continue this series. #thriller

I have became a big fan of the Gabriel Allon series. #2 was better than #1, I thought. If you like spy novels and haven't read this series, you need to give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Ok I‘m hooked 👍🏻 thought the first in the series was good - this one was great. Twisty spy thriller - great stuff.

Switzerland is an insular little country. If you thought they were neutral during WWII, this will teach you a lesson. But really, it‘s Gabriel Allon being his own kick ass, tormented, conflicted self. He‘s setting the world right, and meeting a beautiful new woman in the process. I love Silva‘s straight up writing—spy thrillers with plenty of gut punches.

I should probably be running errands, but I‘ve missed the Me time of reading in between client appointments. So it‘s just me, Gabriel, and Noosa‘s new Orange and Ginger yoghurt. Both are very yummy. #metime

Finished this audiobook on a walk on the first day of spring. I got hooked on this series around Book 10 and am going back to read the earlier books while I wait impatiently for a new installment!!

I truly couldn't put this one down. It grabs you in and clutches you to the very last page! Daniel Silva weaves so much history into his novels, as well. Highly recommend!

Currently listening to this on audio while packing. I'm liking the series and am glad there a floppity jillion of them still to go.

So I know I'm way behind the Spymaster Gabriel Allon's story but holy crap! Loving the stuffing out of this series. !
