pickA good story. It's about books, reading, freedom of reading what you want, imagination. The graphics are a bit caricatural but fit the tone of the story. Freedom to read, freedom to not read. pickStory - five stars. I mean, it's a librarian and a book-loving kid fighting the people who think they should have a say over what other people should read. All the stars. Art - three stars. It just wasn't my cup of tea. Also, I kept putting off reading this book because I found the cover so unappealing. Totally worth the read, but I wish they would redesign the cover to make it more appealing to the intended audience.
This book is about banning books in a small town library. I went through something similar when I was a teenager about Harry Potter and it is reminding me a lot of that time
