WHAT ARE YOU REALLY AFTER IN LIFE? A good time? Fame and fortune? Happiness? To satisfy is to quench, to adequately gratify. If something satisfies, it fulfills. It meets expectations. Whether we consciously know it or not, we're all looking to be gratified, to feel fulfilled. You live in a generation with easy access to mind-blowing experiences, endless entertainment, and all the worldly pleasures a heart could desire. But I still want to ask the question: With everything that's available to you in this world, will you find satisfaction? Most don't. I know I couldn't.

I want a warm and fluffy comfort read but I‘ve finished all my comfort series books. 😫😫😫 I also don‘t want to reread. This is how books slumps start, isn‘t it?

I received my books from Better World Books in record time, but they've stopped shipping them in boxes and they aren't padding the books before putting them in the bag. Luckily, the books weren't damaged this time unlike last time.

WhatThePuck @aquariusnat I took pictures and will complain. The first time it happened I let it go, but if it's going to continue I will most definitely complain. A lot of their books look brand new when you get them and I give them as gifts. But not if they start looking beat up because of shipping. 6y

BookNAround I got one recently that was completely wavy because of the way they shipped it. And it was for a swap box. 😢 I put it in the box anyway but apologized profusely for it. 6y
WhatThePuck @BookNAround the last time I ordered was for a book swap. I could only send ONE of the 3 I ordered. It was pathetic. I was so mad. One book was damaged, one wasn't damaged too bad and I was able to send and the other was listed as "like new," but the spine was separating when I opened it. I've never been disappointed in their quality. This order is perfect, luckily. But, I'm still going to complain. 6y
