I‘m not a knitter so there were far too many intricate knitting details for me. But this cast of characters was awesome and made you root for them. There was a team approach vs do it alone sleuth that I loved. I had the killer at one of two people, so not a ton of mystery there. Overall though it was a very good story! I‘ll definitely read more.
#cbbc #coffeebeanbookclub from @Kshakal thanks lady! @Captivatedbybooks I‘ll mail yours Monday with a little Canadian extra :)
A cute cozy with a heavy found family element! I enjoyed the mystery as well as the characters! There is a good chance I will continue with the series!!
This was a cute little cozy. Kelly's aunt is murdered and she has to return to sort out everything. I admit the lush descriptions of the fabrics and yarn made me want to start knitting. Aside from that, my favorite was Carl the Rottweiler 🤎

I got my first #CBBC package for this round. Thank you @Pageturner1 I love the glass and the note cards and I'm looking forward to planting the flowers 🌻

Spent a fantastic morning with a pot of tea, a new knitting pattern, & my baby plants 🪴 little cozy mystery to pass the time while feeding the baby 👼 while the mystery was stitched up, I really enjoyed the easy female friendships throughout the book! 🥰 It also includes a pattern for a sweater vest & a recipe for cinnamon rolls 🥮
While I didn't love the writing in this mystery and the pacing ebbed and flowed, I really enjoyed the focus on friendships and finding community. Some of it was really charming and funny, and some of it was a little slow as the series set its foundation (for example, the true murderer was obvious from the moment he appeared on the page). Still, a sweet little mystery.
Another great cozy book! I‘ll definitely be carrying on with the series. #scarathlon2020 #teamSlaughter +16

Loved this! Now I want the whole series! #cozymystery
I liked the premise but not as much in the execution. Promising though so I‘ll try the next one.
Friday was local election results here and I was working at our offices near the Houses of Parliament- which meant a lunch time trip to the Oxfam book shop, where I spotted this and the next two in the series. Why thank you. Don‘t mind if I do!
ACK I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT READING THIS I JUST FINISHED AT 00:50
I haven't stayed up all night reading a book in a while. It always messes up my already messed-up sleeping habits. But I HAD TO with this book okay it was a great mystery this was a great first in series I'm so happy the main character has such a wonderful group of lady friends already. BLAAAAAAAA DEFINITELY WORTH STAYING UP TO FINISH
FINALLY picked up an ~honest to god book I really truly actually own~ to read. First in series knitting-themed cozy mystery. #ilovecozies
I'll be level with you all--I've read over 300 books so far this year (thanks unemployment). And only 4 of those books are sitting on my #MountTBR list for 2018. The rest were borrowed from the library, I swear to Christ. I am a Power Library User. 💪🏽📚✨💝
I forgot to post yesterday, so two birds—one stone, as they say. I borrowed this one from my mom a few years ago, and it‘s a fun beginning! I should pick the second one up soon; cozy mysteries are perfect when the weather gets cold! #novemberbythenumbers
Thank you @melissanorr for the thoughtful book choice and it‘s signed!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ the candle smells Devine! Appreciate the thoughtfulness #letsgetcozy
It's a cute series but the character development gets really stale.
