If you are in the wake of a faith shift this is a great book to meet you where you are. I grew up most of my evangelical life being told to run away from Bell‘s writings. Now that I am dealing with the traumatic fall out of Evangelicalism, his writings have been a balm. If you are experiencing guilt or shame from beliefs you used to espouse, especially concerning hell, pick this one up.

If you've ever struggled with the idea of hell, this book is everything you need. It is completely and totally speaking to my soul.
pickI drank this in. It spoke to my soul. I have believed in Christ but had big questions on how he was presented in the church. This book answered many. Embracing Christ and his love without boundaries. Without all of the religious oppression that so many associate with Christianity. The tattoo is years old but it's how I always have felt Jesus' message. It matches the book though so bonus! 😊

pickI'm new to Rob Bell. I come from a church upbringing, still go, now take my kids. But my beliefs, my perspectives shifted here and there over the years as I grew up, experienced a bit of life, met many people. Amongst those religious folks in my life, some adore Rob Bell and some say he went off the rails to heretic land. I can now say I like him. His words ring true to me and I find them refreshing. You may, too. ❤️
